ביוגרפיה קצרה

ד"ר דני בן-שחר הינו מרצה בכיר בפקולטה לניהול באוניברסיטת תל אביב ומכהן כראש מכון אלרוב לחקר הנדל״ן. המחקר שלו עוסק בעיקר בניתוח ההתנהגות הראציונלית והאי-ראציונלית של השחקנים בשוק הנדל"ן. עבודותיו פורסמו בין היתר בכתבי עת כגון:  Economica, Regional Science and Urban Economics, Annals of Regional Science, The Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Journal of Real Estate Research, ו- The Journal of Housing Economicsד"ר בן-שחר הינו עמית של ה-Weimer School at the Homer Hoyt Institute שבפלורידה, ארצות הברית. כמו כן הוא מכהן במערכות של מספר כתבי עת מדעיים בתחום הנדל"ן.  בנוסף הוא יושב כחבר מועצת המנהלים של מספר חברות עסקיות בישראל ומשמש כחבר (נציג אקדמיה) במועצת השמאים בישראל.  לד"ר בן-שחר תואר B.A. בכלכלה מאוניברסיטת תל אביב ותוארי MBA ו- Ph.D. במימון נדל"ן מאוניברסיטת קליפורניה בברקלי.
